Join the Rockstar Leaders Tutoring Team!

Rockstar Leaders is growing, and we’re looking for warm, reliable tutors to support young readers (PreK–2nd grade) during our Winter/Spring season, beginning January 2026. Our focus is building foundational literacy skills through evidence-based, playful, confidence-centered instruction.

Who We’re Looking For

You’d be a great fit if you:

• Love working with young children

• Have experience with kids (teaching, nannying, camps, childcare, etc.)

• Are open to completing a short training on early literacy and student engagement

• Can commit to at least one consistent after-school time slot each week

• Are comfortable traveling to families’ homes and/or meeting at local libraries

• Can pass a background check

Preferred (Not Required)

• Certified teacher or currently studying to become one

• Orton-Gillingham trained

• Experience with reading intervention or early childhood education

Areas We’re Hiring For

We’re specifically looking to fill:

• Two Charlotte tutors – Plaza Midwood / Eastover areas

• One South Charlotte tutor – Ballantyne / Pineville / surrounding neighborhoods

One Steele Creek tutor — Fort Mill, Steele Creek, Palisades
