In-Person and Online Tutoring
Rockstar Leaders Tutoring provides personalized, evidence-based reading support for students in PreK–3rd grade. Our approach is grounded in the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham methodology, ensuring each child builds the foundational skills needed to grow in confidence and literacy.
Whether your child is learning letter sounds, blending words, or strengthening comprehension, our 40-minute sessions are designed to meet them where they are — and help them shine.
Tutoring sessions are offered in-home or at local libraries across the Charlotte area, making it easy for families to find a comfortable and convenient learning space.

Jenna Klemm
Founder & CEO
Jenna is a former 1st and 2nd grade teacher with a Master’s in Education and a passion for helping kids grow into confident learners. She is Orton-Gillingham trained and brings over 6 years of classroom experience into one-on-one tutoring. In 2023, Jenna founded Rockstar Leaders to blend her love of literacy, mindfulness, and whole-child learning. Her favorite part of tutoring is watching students build confidence in themselves as readers, writers, and learners.
Holly Carter
PreK-3rd Grade Tutor, Steele Creek & Fort Mill
Holly is a passionate elementary school teacher with years of classroom experience supporting young readers and writers. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham and specializes in helping students build strong foundational literacy skills in a way that feels engaging and fun. Holly believes every child deserves to feel confident and capable, and she brings patience, creativity, and encouragement to every tutoring session. Families love her ability to meet kids where they are and celebrate every step of their progress.

Brooke Blakemore
PreK-2nd Grade Tutor, Central Charlotte
Brooke has spent the past two years teaching first grade and earned her degree in Elementary Education from UNC Charlotte. She is Orton-Gillingham trained and passionate about helping children become confident, capable readers. Brooke believes learning should be joyful and engaging, and she’s excited to support students as they grow and strengthen their reading skills.

Kelly keeps Rockstar Leaders running smoothly behind the scenes. From scheduling sessions and matching families with tutors, to answering parent questions and making sure communication is clear, Kelly ensures every family feels supported. With a background in education and administration, she brings organization, warmth, and a personal touch to every interaction. Families love her reliability and encouragement—and tutors are grateful for her constant support.
