Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you believe in the power of movement, mindfulness, and creativity to help kids shine? Rockstar Leaders is looking for a warm, playful, and dependable yoga teacher to lead our signature classes across the Charlotte area.

This is a unique and meaningful role perfect for someone who lights up around little ones, values social-emotional learning, and loves guiding children through yoga and mindful play.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll step into a well-loved role currently led by our founder, teaching Rockstar Leaders classes in the following settings:

🧘‍♀️ Weekday(s) mornings | ~9:30 AM – 12:00 PM |

We’re recruiting yoga teachers to teach yoga and mindfulness lessons at daycare centers around Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

Here’s what it might look like: You’ll rotate through classrooms (ages 1+), spending 15–20 minutes in each. Sessions include our Rockstar warm-up, check-ins on how kids are feeling, and a playful yoga or SEL activity. Let us know if you’re interested

🎨 Fridays | 1:00 – 2:30 PM (in 6-week sessions)

Lead a Literacy & Art class at Small Hands Big Art in Waverly (Charlotte), blending early literacy with movement, storytelling, and creativity.

🌳 Fridays | 4:00 – 4:30 PM

Teach a kids’ yoga class at The Grove near Eastover. This fun, imaginative class is for ages 2+ and welcomes both members and non-members.

👩‍👧 Weekends (Flexible)

Option to lead Mommy & Me yoga pop-up classes around Charlotte! These 30-45-minute classes are playful, heartwarming, and community-building.

Scheduling Notes:

  • You do not need to teach every class listed.

  • When filling out the interest form, you’ll be able to specify which locations and days you’re available for.

  • We are looking for consistent teachers for our weekly sessions—ideally, the same person will lead the Tuesday daycare classes each week and/or the same person will lead the Friday Grove class each week.

  • Our weekend pop-up classes are more flexible and may rotate between teachers.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate is…

  • A joyful, nurturing presence who truly enjoys working with children

  • Experienced in early childhood education, childcare, or youth programs

  • Familiar with yoga and mindfulness practices (personal or professional)

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and comfortable leading small groups

  • Creative, flexible, and confident guiding young learners through movement and transitions

Bonus Points For:

  • 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification

  • Classroom teaching experience or certification in early childhood/elementary education

  • Previous experience leading children’s yoga or SEL activities
