Slowing Down During Maycember

The number of times I’ve used the word “Maycember” this week is a little wild. I hadn’t even heard the term until the Friday before Mother’s Day weekend, when I was at Trader Joe’s picking out flowers for my free Mother’s Day class. Turns out… everyone else had the same idea.

That weekend also happened to be prom, First Communion, and graduation for some families. And now, with Memorial Day approaching, we’re officially in the thick of it.
